TOOLS / FOR SELLERS

A freelance contract in plain language

Answer the fields on the left and watch a clear service agreement build on the right. Copy it or print to PDF. No account, no legalese you can't read.

Deliverables (one per line, be specific)

This is a starting point, not legal advice. For high-value or unusual engagements, have a lawyer review your final agreement.

What a contract actually protects

The two clauses that prevent most disputes are scope and revisions. A specific deliverable list ("one logo in vector format with color and mono variants," not "branding") is your defense againstscope creep, and a stated revision count stops "just one more tweak" from eating your margin. Pair a deposit with clearpayment terms so you're not financing the work. This tool builds on the same wording as the freelance contract template — read that if you want the full annotated version.
