Community Guidelines
Effective Date: April 9, 2026
Last Updated: April 9, 2026
1. Our Values
Mindhyv is a global social commerce platform built on the belief that people create their best work and form their most meaningful connections when they feel safe, respected, and empowered.
1.1 Authentic Expression
The platform welcomes genuine, original content reflecting creator identities. Authenticity includes honesty when sharing content, recommending products, promoting services, or offering expertise. Misleading audiences undermines community trust.
1.2 Safety
Everyone deserves to feel safe on Mindhyv. Safety encompasses more than threat absence — it means protection from harassment, abuse, exploitation, and discrimination. The platform prioritizes physical safety and user well-being in difficult decisions.
1.3 Respect for Diversity
Mindhyv connects people from diverse cultures, languages, beliefs, identities, and perspectives. Community members should engage respectfully with others, even during disagreement. Respect extends to using platform features as intended.
1.4 Creative Freedom
The platform supports creativity across multiple formats: art, writing, music, video, photography, courses, products, code, and ideas. Mindhyv celebrates boundary-pushing creators and recognizes that intellectual property respect, proper attribution, and fair creator compensation foster thriving creativity.
2. Content Standards
Standards apply to all content posted, uploaded, transmitted, or shared on the platform, including posts, stories, direct messages, room conversations, Marketplace listings, course materials, job listings, advertisements, site builder pages, and AI-generated content.
2.1 Content We Encourage
The platform actively encourages content that:
- Shares genuine experiences, knowledge, skills, and perspectives
- Educates, informs, or empowers others
- Showcases creative work, products, or services
- Fosters meaningful conversations and constructive dialogue
- Supports and uplifts community members
- Celebrates diverse cultures, identities, and viewpoints
- Provides honest and transparent reviews, recommendations, and endorsements
- Contributes to a positive, engaging, vibrant community experience
2.2 Sensitive Content
Sensitive content, while not prohibited, may not suit all audiences. Creators must apply a sensitive content flag indicating mature material, placing content behind a warning screen that requires an active viewing choice. The flag must be applied to content including:
- Graphic or disturbing imagery: Injury depictions, medical procedures, accidents, or natural disasters shared in newsworthy, educational, or documentary contexts
- Mature themes: Substance use, addiction, mental health crises, domestic violence, or sexual assault discussed in non-exploitative, educational, artistic, or awareness-raising contexts
- Nudity and sexual content: Artistic nudity, educational human anatomy or sexual health content, or non-pornographic material containing nudity or sexual themes. Pornographic content and sexually explicit material are prohibited even with flagging.
- Strong language: Excessive profanity or potentially offensive language
- Controversial or divisive topics: Politically polarizing, religiously sensitive, or contentious topics that may upset viewers
- Spoilers: Significant plot points, outcomes, or surprises from recently released media
Failure to apply appropriate flags may result in moderation action, with repeated failure potentially triggering enforcement.
2.3 Prohibited Content
You may not create, upload, post, distribute, or otherwise make available through the Services any content that:
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or depicts sexual acts involving minors
- Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, or organized crime
- Promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for suicide, self-injury, eating disorders, or other forms of self-harm
- Contains excessively violent, gory, or disturbing imagery or descriptions
- Constitutes hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Contains unsolicited commercial messages (spam), phishing attempts, or deceptive links, including links with concealed referrer tags or affiliate codes
- Violates any applicable law, regulation, or these Community Guidelines
2.4 Age Requirements
Mindhyv is an 18+ platform — all users must be at least eighteen years old. Being an adult platform does not mean all content is appropriate. Certain content remains absolutely prohibited regardless of audience age:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Content promoting or glorifying violence against specific individuals or groups
- Content facilitating illegal activity
Creators producing content intended for younger audiences (educational materials, family-friendly products) should ensure appropriateness for viewers near the minimum age threshold.
3. Interaction Standards
Platform quality depends on how users treat one another. The following standards govern all interactions including comments, replies, direct messages, room conversations, Marketplace communications, and other user-to-user interactions.
3.1 Constructive Engagement
Encouraged interactions add conversation value. Comments, replies, and room discussions should ideally:
- Add new perspectives, insights, or information
- Ask genuine questions or seek clarification
- Offer constructive feedback, encouragement, or support
- Contribute to productive discussions, even during disagreement
Purely negative, dismissive content designed to provoke emotional reactions without substance ("trolling") is discouraged. While criticism and disagreement are not prohibited, all interactions should meet basic standards of respect and good faith.
3.2 Respectful Disagreement
Disagreement is healthy in a diverse community. When disagreeing, do so:
- Respectfully: Address ideas, arguments, or content rather than attacking persons. Avoid personal insults, name-calling, or ad hominem attacks.
- Proportionately: Respond substantively rather than escalating or exaggerating. Measured responses to minor disagreements prove more productive than outsized reactions.
- In good faith: Engage with what was actually said rather than constructing distorted versions. Assume good faith unless clear evidence suggests otherwise.
- Willing to disengage: Recognize when conversations become unproductive and willingly step away. You are never obligated to continue discussions causing distress or circular argument patterns.
3.3 No Pile-Ons or Coordinated Harassment
Coordinated campaigns targeting individuals or small groups for harassment, intimidation, or silencing are prohibited. This includes:
- Organizing or encouraging mass-reporting, mass-commenting, mass-messaging, or flooding specific user content or accounts, on-platform or through external channels
- Sharing user content or profiles with explicit or implicit encouragement to harass
- Coordinating negative reviews, ratings, or feedback on Marketplace listings, courses, or content as retaliation or harassment
- Participating in pile-ons you did not organize but that evidently cause harm or distress to the targeted individual
Use reporting features rather than organizing group responses to disagreeable content.
3.4 Communication Boundaries
Every user has the right to set communication boundaries, controlling who can contact them and how. Mindhyv provides blocking, muting, and restricting tools. All users must respect established boundaries.
If you are blocked, restricted, or asked to stop contacting someone, compliance is required. Circumventing blocks or restrictions — by creating new accounts, using different features, or employing intermediaries — constitutes harassment and violates these Guidelines.
4. Creator Responsibilities
Mindhyv provides creator tools including content publishing, Marketplace listings, course creation, advertising, affiliate programs, site builders, and AI-powered creative tools. The following standards apply to all users creating and publishing content, selling products or services, or operating as creators.
4.1 Original Content and Intellectual Property
Creators should share self-created content or content they have the legal right to share:
- Original work: Content you share is represented as your own work and does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
- Licensed content: When sharing others' content, you represent that you have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, or authorizations from rights holders, with use complying with applicable license terms.
- AI-generated content: Content generated or substantially assisted by AI tools must clearly disclose AI use in descriptions, captions, or accompanying text. AI-generated content must comply with all platform policies, and creators remain responsible for third-party rights compliance.
- Public domain and fair use: Content in the public domain or qualifying for fair use protection should include appropriate attribution to original creators where feasible.
4.2 Proper Attribution
When content incorporates, references, or is inspired by others' work, provide proper attribution:
- Credit original creators by name and, when possible, link to original sources
- Clearly identify quotes, excerpts, or passages from another person's work
- Disclose when content is a remix, adaptation, or derivative
- Credit collaborators, contributors, and co-creators
4.3 Honest Marketing and Disclosures
Creators promoting products, services, courses, or opportunities must do so honestly and transparently:
- Truthful claims: All claims about products, services, courses, or opportunities must be truthful and substantiated. False or misleading claims about features, benefits, quality, efficacy, or results are prohibited.
- Sponsored content and paid partnerships: When compensated (monetarily or in-kind) for creating or sharing content about a product, service, or brand, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that relationship. Disclosures belong in prominent locations (e.g., at the beginning of a post or video) using clear language such as "#ad," "#sponsored," or "Paid partnership with [Brand]."
- Affiliate links: Links that earn commissions or compensation upon user purchases — including through Mindhyv's affiliate program — must be disclosed as affiliate links.
- Testimonials and reviews: Shared testimonials, reviews, or endorsements must reflect honest opinions and genuine experiences. Fake testimonials, purchased reviews, and fabricated endorsements are prohibited.
- Income and results claims: Claims about income, financial results, or outcomes that others can expect must be truthful, substantiated, and accompanied by appropriate disclaimers such as "Results may vary. These results are not typical."
5. Enforcement
Our enforcement approach is guided by fairness, proportionality, consistency, and transparency. Content moderation involves difficult judgment calls, and we are committed to applying these Guidelines thoughtfully.
5.1 Graduated Response
We believe in opportunities to learn from mistakes. Most violations follow a graduated approach:
- Education: First-time, minor violations may receive warnings explaining the specific policy violated and guidance on future compliance. Our goal is to educate rather than punish for honest mistakes.
- Restrictions: Repeated or more serious violations may trigger temporary restrictions on specific features (posting, commenting, messaging, Marketplace selling) while leaving the rest of the account accessible.
- Suspension: Serious violations or persistent non-compliance despite prior warnings may result in temporary account suspensions of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days depending on severity.
- Termination: Severe violations or unwillingness to comply despite repeated enforcement actions may result in permanent account termination.
Certain violations warrant immediate escalation to suspension or termination without prior warning, including: CSAM, credible threats of violence, severe harassment, significant fraud, and malware distribution.
5.2 Context Matters
Policies are not applied mechanically. Content meaning and impact depend on context, and our moderation teams are trained to consider the following factors:
- Intent: Was the content posted to inform, educate, entertain, or express a genuine opinion? Or to harm, deceive, harass, or manipulate?
- Audience: Who is the intended and likely audience? Private direct messages may be treated differently from public posts with a large following.
- Cultural context: Does the content reflect cultural practices, traditions, humor, or norms? Moderation accounts for cultural differences.
- Newsworthiness and public interest: Does the content address matters of public concern, report current events, or document important issues? Legitimate public interest purposes may receive additional latitude.
- Artistic and creative expression: Is the content art, satire, parody, fiction, or creative expression? Bona fide creative works exploring difficult or provocative themes receive appropriate latitude.
- Self-reference: Is the content a personal story, experience, or expression of identity? People receive broad latitude when sharing their own experiences, including difficult or sensitive ones.
6. Reporting & Appeals
6.1 How to Report
Report suspected violations through:
- In-platform reporting: Every piece of content (posts, comments, stories, messages, Marketplace listings, profiles) includes report options. Tap or click the report icon or "…" menu and select the violation category that best describes the issue. Additional context helps our moderation team.
- Email: Issues that cannot be adequately reported through in-platform features may be sent to [email protected].
- Urgent safety concerns: If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then report the situation to [email protected].
All reports are reviewed. Good-faith reporters will not face retaliation.
6.2 After a Report
When a report is submitted, our team logs and acknowledges it, reviews the reported content against these Guidelines with full context in mind, makes an enforcement decision, and notifies the reported user of any action taken. Privacy and safety considerations may limit what specific enforcement details we can share with the reporter.
6.3 Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may appeal the decision. Enforcement notifications will include an explanation of the specific policy violated and information on how to submit an appeal. Appeals can also be initiated by contacting [email protected].
7. Changes to These Guidelines
These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our community, applicable laws, or our understanding of content moderation best practices. Material changes will include:
- An updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
- Revised guidelines posted on the platform
- Notification to registered users via email or in-platform notification
- An explanation of the change and the reasons for it
We encourage you to review these Guidelines periodically. Continued use of the platform after revised guidelines are posted constitutes acceptance of the revisions.
